Pamela Austin has served as OCHNA’s CEO since its inception
in 1997, overseeing all aspects of the project, including
the development and production of the OCHNA county wide health
needs assessments and executive summaries. In addition to
OCHNA reports, she had the benefit of producing two of the
early Annual Reports on the Conditions of Children in Orange
County (1995, 1996).
Pamela received her Master's in Social Work from the University
of Southern California, with an emphasis on Community Organizing,
Policy and Administration and a sub concentration in Public
Child Welfare. Her practical experience with health and social
service include working as a Behavioral Health Coordinator,
a Social Worker Assistant in Children's Services and a manager
in a national consulting firm. These experiences display
her humanistic connection to the statistical data she provides.

Bonnie
Bui, Master's Candidate,
OCHNA Data Analyst
Bonnie received
her Bachelors in Economics at California State University,
Fullerton, with minors in Business Administration and Women's
Studies. She is currently completing the requirements
for a Masters in Sociology at California State University,
Fullerton (CSUF). Bonnie works as a Graduate Teaching
Assistant for the Department of Sociology at CSUF, and recently
assisted a professor in interviewing children for a study
on childhood cognitive development and its relationship to
reading. Bonnie has experience analyzing economic trend
data with E-Views and survey research data with SPSS.
OCHNA Statistical Oversight Research
Team
All OCHNA data results are analyzed by OCHNA staff and reviewed
by a highly qualified statistical oversight team, consisting
of the following members:
Azhar Qureshi, MD, PhD, received
his PhD in Public Health with an emphasis in Statistics from
UCLA and currently works for St. Joseph Health Systems as
the Vice President.
Curtis Condon, PhD, received his
PhD in Neuroscience and is currently a Senior Public Health
Research Analyst with the Orange County Health Care Agency.
Dennis Berg, PhD, received his
PhD in Sociology, is a Fulbright Scholar and is currently
a full time professor and Chair for the Sociology Department
at California State University, Fullerton.
Jacob
E. Levin, PhD, received his PhD in Molecular and Cell
Biology from University of California, Berkeley and is currently
the Director of Research Development at the University of
California, Irvine.
William Robb, PhD, Chief Statistician
for ORC Macro of Vermont.
