Community Outreach
The Orange County
Health Needs Assessment not only provides data and consulting
services to the Orange
County community but is active in its responsibility to keep
up to date with the latest developments in the health care
community by sitting on several organizations’ committees,
and by providing policy papers and the following informative
website sections.
The Community
Calendar is filled with the latest events taking place
in the Orange County health community and member organizations
may submit events to the calendar. The calendar is viewable
by anyone visiting the OCHNA site. Click here for Directions
on How to Use the Community Calendar.
The Hospital Programs and Collaboration section highlights
community hospital programs that typically involve a great
deal of collaboration and outreach to meet their goals. We
congratulate the hospitals that have successfully helped their
community.
The Health Insurance Resources handout provides information
on low cost or free health insurance and is available for reproduction
and dispersal. Handout provided by the County of Orange Health
Care Agency, California, Child Health and Disability Prevention
(CHDP) Program
The Resource Links section provides a comprehensive list of
links to community resources for Orange County, including resources
for housing, healthcare, and social services.
The PowerPoint presentation,
"Building
Community Partnership and Identifying Critical Needs,"
provides an overview of methods for engaging various sectors
and members of the community to create community collaboratives.
